Here are some lovely things from my “save for later” apps, Instapaper and Bear, that I thought were worth sharing with you this month.
First, this month’s full moon was a super flower blood moon, and not only that, but there was a full lunar eclipse. Did you see it? Unfortunately it became really cloudy here just as the moon was rising, so I didn’t see it or get any of the photos I was hoping for. But this site has some really gorgeous shots.
I discovered a really great online used book store via Robin Sloan. The website is beautiful and worth a browse just to peruse books even if you’re not buying. I promptly ordered two books and I’ll show them to you when they arrive.
Next week I’m going to share an update on The Carbon Almanac, the volunteer collaborative book project I’ve been part of. There’s a lot of energy and momentum around it right now. And the team is looking to expand in the month leading up to publication. If it seems like something you’d like to be part of, check out Seth’s post here.

P.S. I love it when one of the kids cooks dinner. Last night we had Coconut Chickpea Curry and basmati rice and it was so good.
