Four of us did this Terrace Creek hike on a recent Sunday afternoon. The weather was perfect. The trail was quiet and quite pretty, but the creek was essentially non-existent. At the halfway point, the creek would have spilled over a tall rock ledge, creating a wide, modest waterfall. Instead we had a large, flat, dry space for a mini picnic of homemade iced tea and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Which was lovely. It was also fun to explore the dry creek bed below.
Five stars.
Come to the woods, for here is rest.
