
This is how I use my daily planner for memory-keeping. With just a little space and minimal supplies, I can creatively document my days and memories. On this particular day we spent the evening at a flower farm, photographing and picking dahlias, so I made a little dahlia watercolour.
This is just a blank space on today’s daily planner page. One corner of it was already pre-decorated, as each page is. My portable watercolour set includes a water brush and I keep a bit of paper towel tucked into the case too. The set is small enough to pop into a pencil case. I used my phone to look up this dahlia drawing to copy … (I always copy what I draw/paint). And then I used the phone to take this photo. No studio required, just a corner of the kitchen table, a notebook and pencil case, and a phone.
