![A photo of a typewritten land acknowledgement. The page is still in the typewriter as if it has just been typed. Also on the desk, a coffee mug, a houseplant, tow notebooks and a date stamp. The text of the land acknowledgement is contained within the blog post.](https://andreahunterstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Typewritings-09-Land-Acknowledgement-1024x768.jpg)
I acknowledge the lands on which this blog is written as being part of the Treaty and Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat and Wyandot Nations. I recognize these peoples and their ancestors as peoples who inhabited these lands since time immemorial.
Typed on grid paper from a Life A6 spiral bound notebook, using a 1950’s Groma Kolibri typewriter.
Land acknowledgement wording adapted from this Mississauga City Council news release.
